Easter Sunday

Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'”…

When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.

Jesus is among us.

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.” Pope John Paul II

This Easter Sunday, as we celebrate our risen King, we pray that you would know the joy and grace of resurrection every day of your life, that the beauty of Christ’s victory over death would encourage you as you seek to live fully for Him. We pray that the example set by Christ, would compel you to live with your heart and hands open to His people, that you would serve faithfully and with gladness, because the greatest cost has already been paid.

He is risen, and in Him we rise. Hallelujah!

Happy Easter, from the GraceTable team.
